Lancaster with Spitfire and Hurricane – Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in tight formation, with the mighty Avro Lancaster (VN-T) accompanied by a Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane. Captured in flight against a soft grey sky, the three aircraft together tell the story of RAF Bomber and Fighter Command during WWII. Today, as part of the BBMF, they fly as a living memorial to the bravery and sacrifice of “The Few” and all who served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
